Artwork made for the contest "Visiones ancestrales" (ancestral visions) part of the Latin Blender community, the theme was "ancient latin cultures"
The character is the fantastic adaptation of an aztec shaman, i used as reference the clothes and accesories of this civilization priests, and try to replicate the materials they used for that, all adapted to the narrative of my claracter and the stilyzed look i wanted.
The materials where made 100% procedural in cycles plus some hand made masks.
Programs:
-Blender: All the base-meshes and the most of the modeling, retopo, bakes, materials, rigging, ligthing, render and composite.
-Zbrush: Sculpt and remesh of some organic parts
-Marvelous designer: Clothes
