This character was modeled and textured in Blender and the sculpted details in Zbrush, this is part of my journey trying to get a good workflow creating PBR textures only with Blender Cycles

This is how I work to create PBR textures using Cycles, each colored node group is a layer material with all his channels and I isolate each material using and ID map or ID vertex groups.

This is how I work to create PBR textures using Cycles, each colored node group is a layer material with all his channels and I isolate each material using and ID map or ID vertex groups.

Hair planes creation, I rendered the particles, using an emission shader for the color and I fake the normal map and the AO using nodes.
